My name is Matt Schoepflin and I’m the founder of Boost Hockey.
I've been around the game since the age of two when I first learned to skate. I played my entire life growing up, went on to play in prep school, and finally finished up my competitive career at the NCAA level. That filled up the better portion of my first 24 years of life.
Since then, I've become incredibly passionate about coaching and giving back to the game that, I feel, has given me so much. I have been running camps, giving private lessons, and coaching hockey for the past 10 years.
I recently just completed my eighth season as the head coach of Ralston Valley High School’s Varsity Hockey team.
Once I stopped playing competitively, I made a promise to myself that I was going to find a way to impact the game of hockey in a positive way. Like I said above, hockey has given me so much. Hockey has taught me about how to go after my dreams, overcome adversity, be a leader, be a teammate, fully commit to something, go all in, and to be accountable for my actions... and really, the list can literally go on.
I want to help pass along those same lessons, and passion, to as many people as I can.
I look forward to meeting you.
