Sometimes we all need a pick me up.
We just need to watch or listen to something that helps change our perspective and makes us want to keep going.
This is normal and all part of the process. And if you all remember, I'm a big believer in trusting the process.
Whether you don't want to go to the rink and practice, or you don't want to do that extra set in the gym... find that something that helps get you refocused and motivated.
For me, I like to take a few minutes and just reflect and watch a couple videos that help me get my perspective focused and right.
This is one of my favorites...
The whole point to this for me is that not everyday is going to be easy. But the hard days are the ones where you grow and get better. We all have to learn to embrace the pain and suffering and not let ourselves settle when things get hard.
Find something that brings your perspective back and use that to help you push through those tough moments.
I really believe that there is 'phenomenal' in all of us, it's just a matter of if we want to work hard enough to bring it to the surface.
