We All Have Things To Be Thankful For

We All Have Things To Be Thankful For

With it being Thanksgiving I thought it was appropriate to take a step back from everything and have a little perspective.

I have a lot to be thankful for. I have a happy and healthy family. An amazing wife who pushes me everyday to be better, and two great kids that serve as my daily motivation.

I also get to spend my days surrounded by the game of hockey. It’s truly a passion and something that I can’t imagine my life without.

I’m a better man because of hockey. I’ve learned more about life from hockey then probably anything else in my 32 years.

I’ve learned how to work, how to fight for what I want, how to overcome adversity, how to teach, how to coach,  how to be accountable and so many more things...

I’m also thankful for Boost Hockey. It’s not only provided an income for my family but it also feeds the internal passion to teach the game of hockey. To give back to the game that’s given me so much and to truly feel like I am making an impact.

Lastly, as cheesy as it may sound, I’m really thankful for all of you reading this. The blog portion of the site was started almost as an after thought and now is one of the most popular parts of Boost Hockey. The comments and feedback have been awesome. It’s inspiring to hear that some of you are really connecting with the things I write or have actually been helped by my posts. Getting those emails only help continue to drive Boost Hockey forward and I truly thank you for that.

This post is a bit shorter than normal because I hope that you’re spending the day surrounding yourself with family and friends and not focusing on all the other distractions of everyday life.

What are you all thankful for?

Until Monday...
